Happy New Year!

It's 2018, and it's already shaping up to be a musical year. I'm stoked about some great gigs right off the bat: on Saturday, January 27th I'm playing with two acts in a show called Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves, which is a tribute to groundbreaking female musicians that is part of the Old Town School of Folk Music's Uncovered series. Mike Allemana and I will be presenting our version of Natural Woman, with bass and drums, and I'll also be covering Hammond Song by The Roches with Aerin Tedesco and Andrea Bunch. These are two of my favorite songs by some of my favorite artists and I'm performing them with some of my favorite collaborators! It's certain to be a great night.

I'll be playing at Martyrs on Monday, February 5th with John Mead's Conspiracy Theories (John, Chris Corsale, Jimmy Tomasello, Peter Manis, and myself). We're sharing the bill with Boundary Waters and Steph and the Elements.

And I'm thrilled to have another great night of music lined up the next week: Lindsay and the Lights Go Out (Nick Davio, Bob Garrett, and me) will be back at The Hideout on Thursday, February 15th. Also playing are Plucky Rosenthal and Daniela Sloan, both good friends and fine performers that I've wanted to share a bill with for a while. There will be plenty of clever lyrics and good grooves flowing that night. I'm really excited for this one.

And that's just the start! Here's hoping your 2018 will be a year full of good things, warm connections, and music that speaks to you.

Love, Lindsay
