Summer summer summertime

Hi everyone,

It's been a relatively low-key summer for me, performance-wise. So far, I got to sit in with a Heart cover band, Come Sunday played a gig in Wheaton, and I got to perform with some of my students and fellow teachers at the Old Town School's festival. I have a few upcoming morning Wiggleworms shows at Millennium Park that are always a blast, and I'm also very excited to be sharing a bill with the fantastic Andrew Sa at Uncommon Ground Devon on July 29th.

Then the summer will come to a close with the Fly Honey Show, the Inconvenience's incredible cabaret/burlesque/variety show. It's running for three weeks; there's a chance I'll be dancing in the show during the first week, but I will definitely be singing the show's opening number during week 2. Tickets will go fast so get them now if you're interested.

I've been continuing to work on my upcoming album with Marlon Aguilar, the best engineer to work with in town. Stay tuned for details about its release this fall.

Hope to see you soon!
Lindsay
