What a night this will be! Excited to play my songs with the band again with with a new lineup: Lindsay, Nick Davio, and Bob Garrett. Also excited to perform again with Congress of Starlings! Show starts at 9 with Rebecca Jasso, then Lights Go Out, then Congress, then the Orphans.

Annie and the Orphans is a Chicago cover band that performs a mix of high-energy bootie-shakers and introspective heart-breakers from the 1960s and 1970s through today. This 5-piece outfit is firmly rooted in the punk and post-punk music of the 1970s and 1980s but they also feature a number of songs that have either influenced or have been influenced by this genre. They routinely feature selections from The Police, INXS, The Church, Blondie, Joan Jett, and The Ramones.

Congress of Starlings is a long-time favorite on the Chicago indie folk rock scene. Aerin Tedesco and Andrea Bunch have been called ‘two of the most beautiful noises on the planet.’ Lindsay Weinberg rounds out the complex and heavenly harmonies. Greg Nergaard and Janet Cramer lay a skilled groove foundation under gorgeous original tunes. The Starlings have brought their music to dozens of famous venues like Milwaukee’s Summerfest, The National Women’s Music Festival, Halsted Market Days and to beloved Chicago venues like Martyrs'!

Lindsay Weinberg's soulful voice and colorful lyrics evoke the boisterous energy of Chicago summer, the dim corners of a cabaret, and the bright lights of Broadway. Fueled by joyous melodies, rich horns, and a driving rhythm section, the sound of Lindsay and the Lights Go Out is at once incandescent and insightful. Lindsay tells her honest stories through subtle composition and details that stick, inviting us to join her adventure through the little things in life that make the biggest difference in the size of our hearts.

Rebecca conjures images with her lyrics to insert you into pictures from her own imagination. From soft, autumnal landscapes, to dark, Narnian scenes, each song is a journey into a new story. Her honest voice and beautiful songs will absolutely charm you.
