Conspiracy Theories plays a rich, dark mix of funky rock, rock grooves and deep, probing lyrics. The band is the vehicle for original material by singer, guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader John Mead, who has led or played in many bands and organized many, many projects—including the first Old Town School of Folk Music tribute show in 2001. Conspiracy Theories also includes keyboardist/vocalist Lindsay Weinberg, guitarist/vocalist Chris Corsale, bassist Jimmy Tomasello, and drummer Peter Manis.
